Hola! My name is Silvina De Vita and I’m the creator and editor of About Art and Design blog.

I live in London with my family but I’m originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina.

I work as a graphic designer and illustrator. I also paint and make paper sculptures, and I love art. This is what I do.

I started this blog when I moved to London and I began my MA in Art History, as a way of sharing all the shows and exhibitions I’ve been going to.

I think about art from the moment I wake up to the moment I go to bed. I spend my money on exhibitions, plays, books, music, it’s what brings joy to my soul so I spend a lot of time immersing myself in the world of art, literature, design, drawing, crafts and architecture.

All this makes my internal library more interesting, and I believe that an artist’s work becomes more interesting from these influences. By learning about other artists, not only do we seek to understand their processes and influences, but we also become more aware of the myriad of talent there is around the world.

I´m always looking for inspiration everywhere I go.
I hope you enjoy reading this blog as much as I enjoy writing it.

  1. Hola Silvina,

My name is Daniel Chavez and I work for The MY HERO Project (http://myhero.com). We are a non-profit website that promotes the best of humanity through essays, art, audio, short films, and lesson plans. We look for work to provide teachers and users of all ages with resources they can use in their classrooms and at home. MY HERO focuses on the unsung heroes in communities and we invite people to share their heroes from all walks of life with our global audience.

This summer, I will be representing MY HERO at the iEARN International Conference in Argentina and we are looking for work from or about Argentina to feature in our upcoming Spanish portal.

I am wondering if you would give us permission to reprint the following story and artwork to the MY HERO website. We would really love to add more work from Argentina and Latina American countries around the theme of heroism. The artwork I am interested in is “Tag Archives: Oscar Agustín Alejandro Schulz Solari”

The MY HERO Project never tries to steal work that is not ours; our intent is to share and recognize the work of others with our audience from around the world. I really hope that you are okay with us adding some of your artwork to our website.

If there are any specific stipulations and/or credit you would like for us to include, please let us know and we’ll be happy to accommodate you.

I would greatly appreciate a response and I look forward to hearing from you.
